He firstly needs the life that Christ gives and, then, the abundant life that the Father gives which has been packaged in the everlasting gospel. There is a (divine) nature we would acquire while being faithful with little, or in another man’s business; with the Father’s business that was faithfully handled by our Lord Jesus for the first time.
A believer who will discern and come over it, will have to do so by everlasting righteousness; by journeying from the righteousness of faith in Christ to that of God the Father. We confront such fallen glories by the glory that everlasting life seasonally confers upon the soul; the glory that prepares us to see the God of glory and attain the rest of eternal life.
The holy place is the operating theatre where they treat and heal us of the diseases of the soul that can be traced to the (spiritual) death that Adam partook of; that exposed us to a dominion called sin and death, and then necessitated the authoring of the faith of the Son of God; the lifestyle for freedom from sin and death.
To be caught up to God and His throne is the true life ambition of every one who has drank of the pure waters of Christ—and who is now drinking of the living waters of the Father. And that makes him wiser than every other believer whose goal in life is inferior to this (Rev. 12:5, Jn. 4:14, Eph. 5:15-16).
Those who break free from trusting in money are those who break into the dawning of God’s day by trusting in the living God; the everlasting Father. Through spiritual and divine understanding of the faith in Christ and the love that is in the Son of God, believers are meant to hasten into an everlasting and eternal economy in God; a new civilization or world to come order that will replace everything in man and amongst nations that can be traced to Babylon.
Nothing makes or fashions hustlers out of a generation of men, like money. Nothing keeps believers – long in carnality – like money and what money can do (Lk. 18:18-25).
One good clue that money has become a servant to us, or ceased to be a master, is if our eyes and hearts have found rest in the living words of the Father, which alone can selflessly govern our use of money. There is nothing wrong in owning and enjoying things that money can provide or things that God still freely gives.
How meek we are, can always be traced to how long we can continue to do what is right; especially when someone else – who is ignorant of the wise commandments from the Word of Righteousness – keeps doing what is wrong. Becoming meek is the most costly choice a man can make; by those who must be prepared to be despised by all those who haven’t despised this world.
The goal of the faith of the Son (of God) is to help us live like principalities, powers and rulers of the darkness of this world – don’t exist; it is to help us keep doing so until the mind or age called Christ – is fully formed in us. God has been giving victory over such enemies, to those who have sheepishly followed the faith of the New Testament; those who have taken it as personal as men take monetary matters.
To be delivered from the hands of our enemies is to be deaf and numb to the thoughts and feelings that they peddle, or to be separated from the fears, laws, wisdom and reach of principalities, powers and rulers of the darkness of this world (Lk. 1:71a, Rom. 8:1-2). A believer can only be made wiser than principalities, powers and/or rulers of the darkness of this world, by hearing and keeping the name (or doctrine) of Christ called faith, hope and Charity (1Cor. 13:4-13).
In the sight of the Lord, a believer who is closer to receiving the first and last inheritance called Christ and God the Father (everlasting life), is wiser, richer, healthier and more truly prosperous than a believer who isn’t (Eph. 5:5).
The litmus test behind the trials and temptations that come the way of those who have profited with the faith of the Son or who are being introduced to everlasting life, is to prove their ability not to be offended – or to still trust the Father when His seeming inaction to their plight doesn’t go down well with them. The Lord permits them to try or further purify our faith, and to bring us back to living on our knees – especially after we have escaped doing so for a while.
