The true measure of our spiritual growth last year was traceable to how well we used our time and resources in a different way from natural men or carnal believers, and how well we fought the good fight of not taking thought for our lives (Matt. 6:25-34). Only thereby could we have confronted the hope of this world and inched closer to the hope of the gospel (Col. 1:27).
The word of righteousness is a biblical doctrine that should be consistently communicated to a believer who has partaken of the foundational aspect of faith or who has been exposed to the elementary principles of milk (basic) faith (Eph. 1:15-17/Isa. 28:9, Heb. 6:1c-2). It is a doctrine (teaching) that enlightens and empowers its hearers on the right and only approved way to live in the flesh (Rom. 1:16-17, Jn. 1:11-12).
The word of righteousness is the teaching of a faith in Christ that spells out how a believer can relate with the natural/present life in a truly supernatural way. It does so by encouraging us to relate with our needs like Jesus did and not like unbelievers or carnal believers do.
In like manner, what has limited many believers (till date) from coming into a spiritual understanding of the actual faith of the New Testament, is their inability to selflessly use the word that can only introduce righteousness (i.e. the milk of faith), as a leverage to embrace the actual word that teaches or unveils (God’s) righteousness; i.e. the word of righteousness (Heb. 5:12-13). So, good milk cultures an appetite for the spiritual or for the meat of the word called Christ (1Cor. 2:15; 3:1-2)!
That word is called the word of righteousness because (among other things) it prepares believers to gain mastery of the righteousness of faith that is in Christ, so they can comprehend the actual word of God and inherit His genes – His righteousness. This word promises to help believers to inherit Christ and to subsequently have God as the true possession of their soul – even while on earth.
If a soul can hold or keep grudge for 53 years, we should be able to keep or hold unto faith for much longer; unto the end or until we lay hold on eternal life? What the faith that is in Christ does is to bring us there; to a place where we would take seriously the feasts of faith to Charity, so we can be empowered to live (in our flesh) by the faith of the Son.
The only way we can escape what the devil is saying to us, especially when such temptations are to stop us from entering a new spiritual season or limit us from accessing the holy things and places in Christ Jesus, is for us to hear and respond to what the Lord has said or is saying concerning our lives. One very strong prescription for overcoming offence and attaining the blessing in Christ Jesus, is for us to see ourselves as a nobody outside whom the Lord has said we are and called us to be.
Faith has a reputation for painting pictures of victory ahead despite our past, and it thereby reassures us that we can still become whom God has called us to be, or attain our full inheritance in Christ Jesus.
No man can become a true servant of God who has not disobeyed the course or life that mammon designed for men to live by. May the Faith in Christ Jesus become our soul’s currency for living, and may money mean to us what it meant to our Lord Jesus, Amen.
The world has said, “time is money”, but the gospel is still saying “time is life”! May the Faith in Christ Jesus become our soul’s currency for living, and may money mean to us what it meant to our Lord Jesus, Amen.
The faith that is in Christ Jesus is the provision that keeps changing our sight; even to a place where we can comprehend God or judge like He does (Isa. 11:3, Jn. 7:24). Heaven wants to see how long we can hold unto faith (Christ), and under what situations we would do otherwise, because that would inform if they can ultimately unveil the Father to us, or commit into our trust, our eternal inheritance (1Pet. 1:9).
The Christian Faith is so precious; that, when the design or pressures around this present world makes food and raiment the only thing constant or available, and leaves all other things (necessitates) as variables, a believer who is constantly being fed with the faith that is in Christ should be willing to hold unto that life and be fully purified by it until he crosses into the seasons where the hope of eternal life would be gradually made tangible to him (Ps. 110:3, 1Tim. 6:8, 1Pet. 1:22).
