The ultimate plan of God continues to be the raising of lambs who can follow the Lamb of God. The process is believing.
Creation is beholding men being cultured with the separated life that Adam failed to partake of, men that are increasingly jealous of this life that they have agreed with the Lord that it is their true life and they must inherit it in the days of their flesh. Heaven and earth no doubt don’t share the same definition or interpretation of riches and of poverty.
His secret was simple! His background, upbringing and his experiences where all primarily influenced by God’s light!
The greatest battle takes place within the soul of man daily; the fight to allow God’s light find an entrance into the soul while simultaneously disallowing the influx of darkness in whatever form it takes, whether it comes “in the name of Christianity”, philosophy, religion, intellectualism or humanism. We must hasten to receive Christ’s Faith and God’s Love which would lead to the enemy’s undoing within us and without us.
Believers today are therefore without excuse, because access to the secrets governing the knowledge of God’s glory is readily available wherever and whenever God’s revealed righteousness is being dispensed by the help of the Spirits of the Lord.
What our heavenly Father continues to expect from us today is a qualitative degree of pleasure that Old Testament faithful couldn’t upload; one that is eternally compliant with truth.
Every carnal believer who chooses to be sincere with God would know where he stands, and can begin by forsaking his unapproved rights – every righteousness that isn’t revealed by the father (Matt. 16:17/Rom. 1:17). The unfortunate life of the young rich ruler confirms that ANYTHING ELSE IS ACTUALLY COSTLIER!
I recall afresh that the emphasis of God, not just in New Testament, but also in the Old Testament, has always been “BECOMING“, rather than “DOING“, and this remains the sole duty of man; TO BECOME LIKE HIS SON. Heaven desires to help our helplessness here and it’s left to us to tarry with a less-costly commandment of “Believing In His Name” (i.e. in what the Lord Jesus inherited); a philosophy that punctuated various epistles of Apostle John.
When faced with casual or delicate choices, “Doing Nothing” on not a few occasions can be a very useful shield that should limit our carnal nature from writing some chapters of each day. Nothing that happens AROUND US should be compared with what should be happening WITHIN US!
According to God, the shortcut to becoming “SOMEBODY” is to be a “NOBODY” according to the standards of this world. The choice actually is ours!
Romans chapter 1 therefore lets us to know that THE GOSPEL is the storehouse of the Revelational materials meant for the building of the true Church (1Cor. 3:10-12). A key chapter of the Christian faith has begun! Worthy seekers and loving inquirers are being raised and we must seek the Christ until we are counted worthy of being his fellows that would be anointed with the same oil of gladness (Ps. 45:7/Heb. 1:9).
It may interest you to know that the first owner and the first person to preach the gospel was God (Rom. 1:1), and his first audience was Adam (Gen. 2:16-17). Believers, ministers, you and I need to learn the core aspects of Gospel of God and this curriculum starts when the God succeeds in weaning us (Isa. 28:9) from the preeminent church meals.
