The following inspired thoughts were born while ruminating around the word of righteousness. Soul salvation is exclusively God’s plan.
The Year/decade 2020 has therefore been prophetically positioned by heaven via these preparations, for many to trap more measures of the quality of life that has been kept in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. The promise of eternal life is set to became a renewed source of contentment in life, and death is set to face its toughest conquest – just like sin (the world) previously did.
There is a word that reveals God’s righteousness (or standard) for living like Christ lived. That word is called the word of righteousness, and interestingly, has been available in the last three decades (Heb. 5:13).
Faith has a reputation for painting pictures of victory ahead despite our past, and it thereby reassures us that we can still become whom God has called us to be, or attain our full inheritance in Christ Jesus.
The world has said, “time is money”, but the gospel is still saying “time is life”! May the Faith in Christ Jesus become our soul’s currency for living, and may money mean to us what it meant to our Lord Jesus, Amen.
Offence is inevitable – as long as the world remains (Matt. 18:7). One primary way that heaven enlarges the narrowness of the human heart/mind, is by taking us through seasons and experiences where we would be taught to delightfully serve and seek things that are in the interest of others (2Cor. 6:3-13).
The Lord has something to tell us about any thought, imagination or temptation that the devil brings our way; He has a right judgment/righteousness to whisper to our hearing, because He has been there before. The New Testament is therefore a provision that keeps shining light to our darkness; even into our inward and hidden parts, until what concerns us – like David – would be what concerns the Lord.
Most self-seeking or innocent-looking thoughts that come our way and hang upon our hearts and mind, actually do so because they find one darkness or another in us, or one ignorance or lust that they quietly feed on (Jam. 1:14, 2Cor. 10:5). But when we strive or seek to gracefully fetch thoughts from heavenly places in Christ; or to make the law of God our daily mediation like David did, then: things or lusts that easily tempt us would increasingly lose their value because we are appreciating in being spiritually or Christ minded (Rom. 8:5-6).
The righteousness judgments surrounding this faith, also help us to undress all thoughts; to see through their motives and discern those that want to snatch life from us on one hand, while offering us worldly sweets/dainties on the other hand.
The Lord wants to bring us to a place where, even when we want to take thought for tomorrow or for things the world as branded as life, we would not know how to go about it! His tool for this is His Gospel, which- when well taught and received – can fashion us to become fellows of another life (Christ); even as we gain possession of God’s revealed righteousness (Col. 2:6-7, 2Cor. 5:21, Heb. 1:9).
The faith of the Son of God promises to see us through seasons when and where the shame cast by civilization against the gospel; even the path that leads to life, would become one of the things we are to overcome. It will empower us to despise such shame until we grow above it; until it means nothing to us; until our first spiritual inheritance (Christ) means much more to us that it once did (Rom. 1:16).
There is no way our motive in life can be right, if – unlike God – our motivation in life isn’t to ultimately make known God’s power and glory. But as the eyes of our heart gets truly enlightened, we would begin a journey that should see us adventure the righteousness, peace and joy of God’s Kingdom; and, thereby, truly enjoy life – in its truest meaning.
