One thing that the Lord Jesus would like us all to see as clearly like he did long before he finished his faith course and overcame the world at the age of 30 is the phenomenon called death. The hope of the gospel is to make us good; to make us much more precious than Gold in God’s sight (Isa. 13:12/1Pet. 1:7). Good men are made when Christ has preached himself (what makes him glad) to them and may this be our portion, amen.

God is the father of truth, and the only way he adopts our souls into truth is through the good fight of Faith; the fight against vanity, the fight to handle originality (the riches of His grace/good things of the kingdom). We are all surrounded by vanity (things that perish with the use), but it takes the wisdom God revealed in Christ Jesus for us to be saved from the grip of such things.

God therefore uses our so-called delays to separate us from the timing (race) of this present world and also employs the limitations that came via the fall of man (pain, lack, losses, tears, sicknesses and sorrow) to starve us of what we inherited from the first Adam (disobedience).
