109–120 z 129
The only way to arrest the influence that mammon exerts upon our soul through the love of money, is by being introduced to a contrary influence or knowledge called the Faith of the Son, that promises to bring our souls to God or make us serve Him acceptably (Matt. 6:24, 1Tim. 6:6-12, Heb. 12:28).
Seasons where nothing seems to be working outwardly are when the Lord wants to expose our fears and make us secured in Christ. Only then can we walk with the light of the fear of the Lord and seek to be eternally secured with God or with the fullness of His life (Deu. 8:2, Isa. 11:2-3, Eph. 3:17-20).
The more we can see things through the eyes or light constituted in Christ and God, the more tangible God’s righteousness would become – and the more peace of mind we would have. The peace found in Christ is a spiritually tangible commodity.
Whenever we don’t fully recover from an unfavourable or painful experience, we won’t be able to respond to God from certain regions of our heart—until we keep the commandments or comforts of faith and love concerning it. As we see through the veil of peace that this world gives, journeying to inherit the peace of the Kingdom would become our new goal and meditation!
The Peace of God is an umpire meant to keep our heart and mind focused on attaining our eternal inheritance (God). We can attain it if we resolve to live by the faith of the Son of God; even until we overcome the temptation to settle for anything less than God (Phil. 4:7, 2 Pet. 3:14, Gal. 2:20).
The Christian way is actually the way of Faith that is in Christ. It is God’s way of helping us become irresponsive to this world.
Christ is the true economy for the soul of every believer who wants to escape corruption. In His Faith is a program of life and godliness that separates us from this world — and make us godly.
A believer hasn’t really surrendered his life to Christ-as long as he hasn’t truly surrendered the worldly life within his soul. The doctrine of Christ empowers us to do so; to thereby become kings of Righteousness and peace (Lk. 12:15-31, 1Tim. 6:3, Heb. 7:2)
The Faith that is in Christ guarantees us victory; not only over our unfavorable looking past or our unpleasant-looking situations, but also over the source of all problem (flesh). It empowers us to take our eyes off things, off men and off ourselves—and thereby starves our fleshy (carnal) nature from thriving (Col. 3:9-14, 2Cor. 4:18, Rom. 4:19-20).
The triune teaching in Christ are the enlightenments on Faith, Hope and Charity. They are to purify our souls-so we thereby escape the corruption of this world; so we are prepared for seasons when corruption would be fully overcome: seasons when God would become our God (1Pet. 1:22, 2Pet. 1:4, Rev. 3:12).
The following is another attempt to use the goggle of Faith to weigh and filter various thoughts from conversations under the sun, on another blessed day. Nothing heals us from being insecure like walking from Faith – through Hope – unto Charity; like adding virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness and Charity—to our faith.
The soul acquires spiritual immunity by spiritual understanding; by understanding what the Lord has said or is saying. While doing so, we would realize we have no past that isn’t useful in God’s hand, no teething present challenge that isn’t worth rejoicing about, and a future that should see us become comforters to many as long as we truly and fully entrust it in God’s hands.
