THE SECRET PLACE is the place where Christ reveals His Faith which was kept secret for ages until Jesus walked on earth(E). It’s a place of receiving GOD’S GREAT PROMISE which is the inheritance of God’s elect(F).
The greatest battle takes place within the soul of man daily; the fight to allow God’s light find an entrance into the soul while simultaneously disallowing the influx of darkness in whatever form it takes, whether it comes “in the name of Christianity”, philosophy, religion, intellectualism or humanism. We must hasten to receive Christ’s Faith and God’s Love which would lead to the enemy’s undoing within us and without us.
Sin finally scored a trans-generational goal when it taught men to perennially SEEK GOD FOR THINGS (that perish with the use) at the expense of SEEKING GOD FOR HIS TREASURED LIFE! Seeking God for God demands all our heart, strength and mind.
So beyond the deductions of medicine, our blood carries a testimonial; with it, we either fetch and keep life or fetch and keep sin. The summary of our lives would either witness to our love for truth or lust for vanity.
It is a destiny defining moment for believers, when the eyes of their heart receives adequate light to see the emphasis the Lord places on who they are in God’s sight, rather than what they do for Him. The instructions embedded in the epistles are meant to help us carry our cross daily until we can delightfully deny ourselves of things that are lawful or legitimate (our rights/righteousness) and receive things that are advantageous (God’s righteousness).
What our heavenly Father continues to expect from us today is a qualitative degree of pleasure that Old Testament faithful couldn’t upload; one that is eternally compliant with truth.
So the warfare stated in Ephesians 6:14-17 is non-negotiable for any believer that is being prepared to overcome the world and attain sonship! It is not a warfare of the Outer Court where those who still SEEK GOD FOR THINGS can use the authority (first commission) that was placed upon the name of Jesus to cast out devils.
The tree of the knowledge of good and evil has the ability to lead a soul from sin to death(E). The tree of life has the ability to wean(F) a believer from the popular faith in the church today (faith towards God), lead him/her through God’s Faith(G) and also mature him/her in God’s Love.
The end of the future of all men would either be categorized as acceptable/rewardable works (ie. gold, silver, precious stones) or unacceptable works that can’t stand the true test of fire. May I leave you with this anointed question, “What did the father reveal to Jesus as the future of man during those 33 years? Is that what you and I believe in as Our Future?”
True freedom has a synonym called the peace of God, and it can become the inheritance of those who choose to despise (hate) the peace being offered by the world (Jn. 14:27/12:25).
We are therefore at the mercy of seeking freedom in God’s way, with God’s resources, and at God’s time. Going forward, a genuine wind of change that’s governed by the Gospel of Christ (God’s Power) would be visiting the church (saints) like never before.
God awaits a generation of saints that would agree with him that Learning His Gracious Heart primarily takes place through non-negotiable seasons of the unknown, where He employs economic setbacks, famine, illnesses, betrayals, inadequacies, buffetings of the enemy, despair etc. to change the genes of our souls, further our course in righteousness, redeem us from the earth and from among men, and most importantly, bring us to a terrain of His Faith where the enemy is greatly limited!
