Introduction To The Word of Righteousness – Part 7
There is a Word that reveals God’s standard for living like Jesus did until He attained the victory called our Faith. That Word is called the Word of Righteousness.

There is a Word that reveals God’s standard for living like Jesus did until He attained the victory called our Faith. That Word is called the Word of Righteousness.
There is a Word that serves as the spiritual means to connect those who have used the milk expression of faith with the strong meat expression of faith (the word of God). That Word is called The Word of Righteousness.
There is a Word that remains uncommon in the Church till date. This Word was branded in Hebrew 5:13 as the Word of Righteousness; and it has been quietly exposing companies of believers across nations to turn from darkness to light, have their past sins remitted and become Christlike new men who inherit a place amongst those who are sanctified in Zion; who, thereby, become the Lord’s brethren.
One essence of the word of righteousness is to purify our motives and thoughts, so we can selflessly relate with the world and the things in her, become fully separated from it, and then take the Father’s commandments. Only thereby would we gain possession of the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, begin to comprehend the actual word of God, and ultimately, inherit the law of God.
The following are inspired thoughts I found grace to fetch, while celebrating the word of righteousness and attempting to acknowledge the truth that would birth in us – the hope of eternal life.
What makes a man potentially great in the sight of God is not anything that a natural man can seek, acquire or achieve (1Cor. 2:14, Heb. 11:16). Rather, it is what God has to help a man to seek by enlightening him on His great and precious promises; promises inherited for the first time by the man Christ Jesus; precious promises that can enable a man to inherit the light of God – eternally (Gen. 12:1, 2Pet. 1:3-4, Rev. 21:23-24).
No man has really been helped in God’s sight, without being taught how not to take thoughts for his life; thoughts that limits us from becoming childlike at heart. Jesus’ teachings were therefore centered around how to empower men to seek and live from above, while taking thoughts born out of God’s righteousness; words that proceed from the Father’s mouth.
Without the word of Christ and the word of God being received and kept over time, we cannot lay down our will and embrace/do God’s will, neither can we bring Him pleasure after the order of the New Testament. One proof of progressing with the Lord’s program to separate us from the world and its lusts, and one hint that we are making progress with His will is that, thoughts and images from the world that previously used to entice us or trouble our peace would increasingly become obsolete and would be replaced by thoughts that stream from God’s righteousness, which would become our new treasure (Lk. 12:31-34).
The true measure of our spiritual growth last year was traceable to how well we used our time and resources in a different way from natural men or carnal believers, and how well we fought the good fight of not taking thought for our lives (Matt. 6:25-34). Only thereby could we have confronted the hope of this world and inched closer to the hope of the gospel (Col. 1:27).
The measure to which we are awake to God’s righteousness; even via the preaching and keeping of the gospel of Christ, is the measure to which we would become unresponsive to sin (unrighteousness); and to that degree would we be able to deny sin (this world), until doing so becomes a natural delight (1Cor. 15:34, 1Jn. 5:27, Ps. 119:47).
The word of righteousness is the hinge upon which the ministry of revelation (that reveals God’s righteousness) swings (2Cor. 3:9, Rom. 1:16-17). The Word of Christ and the Word of God are the two allocations of doctrine in the New Testament – that the word of righteousness skillfully reveals (Heb. 5:13).
The word of righteousness is a biblical doctrine that should be consistently communicated to a believer who has partaken of the foundational aspect of faith or who has been exposed to the elementary principles of milk (basic) faith (Eph. 1:15-17/Isa. 28:9, Heb. 6:1c-2). It is a doctrine (teaching) that enlightens and empowers its hearers on the right and only approved way to live in the flesh (Rom. 1:16-17, Jn. 1:11-12).
